Laminated Glass

Laminated glass is a sandwich of two or more glass sheets with one or more plies of high-performance film interlayer that are bonded together in a oven that uses heat and vacuum to create structural integrity.

We specialize in tempered laminated glass using Ethylene Vinyl Acetate or EVA. EVA is a thermoset adhesive film where during the laminating process a three-dimensional bond at the molecular level is created. Due to this cross-linking, our EVA can be used for both architectural and interior design applications without the risk of de-lamination or yellowing overtime. EVA is well suited for adding decorative inserts such as fabrics or papers between the layers.

Benefits:

  • Cleaner edges after lamination
  • Very high moisture resistance
  • Outstanding clarity
  • High light transmission
  • Compatible with a wide range of decorative inserts
  • High UV protection

Applications:

  • Interior or Exterior
  • Stair Railings
  • Deck Railings
  • Balustrade’s
  • Canopies
  • Acoustic Insulation
  • Design Elements
