Mercer GlassFab is regional glass fabricator and tempering operation looking for a dependable individual with a strong work ethic. Employment requires eagerness to learn and excellent attendance. Other skills within a glass fabrication plant such as cutting line, edging, hole drilling and tempering will be an added plus! Experience with glass fabrication is not required. We will train the right candidate. Our jobs requires frequent heavy lifting of up to 70 lbs and standing and walking for 8 hours or more. Our ideal candidate has strong people skills with the ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and customers. The ability to read, write and communicate in English is a must. This job requires attention to detail and accuracy. The applicant must be able to accurately read a tape measure to 1/32″. The successful candidate must submit to pre-employment drug testing and physical exam.

Machine Maintenance Mechanic
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the operation and repair of glass fabrication machinery including CNC’s, Edgers, Washers, Cutting Tables and Tempering Ovens.
